Some of you already know about the plan to do two minutes of plank every day in September for Cancer Research, some of you have even agreed to join in! So, here’s some more information about the September Plank Challenge. I’d love it if you could join me…

What is the Cancer Research Plank Challenge?

Very simply, plank for two minutes every day of September and raise money for the vital research that goes towards beating cancer.

We’ll kick off the challenge in class on Monday 2nd September – and no, it doesn’t mean we have to do four minutes to make up for the Sunday! In fact, we’ll start slowly by taking our two minutes in manageable chunks in the early days, something like four 30-second sets building it up to three 40-seconds, two 1-minutes and so on. As ever, we all go at our own pace.

The important thing is that you’re doing it, and we’re doing it together!

When do we plank?

This is a DAILY challenge, so as well as getting our two minutes in during class, I will be live on Zoom every morning (I’ll send you the link via email/Messenger), to start your day off with a cheeky plank! You can be in your pj’s, you can be ready for work, you don’t need to be in gym clothes (just some clothes would be preferable, please!) I will have my morning cuppa with me…
